Linux Kernel 3.14.58 LTS Updates Networking and USB Drivers, Fixes ARM and x86 Issues

Linux on ARMImmediately after informing GNU/Linux users about the release of Linux kernel 4.3.1, Linux kernel 4.2.7, and Linux kernel 4.1.14 LTS, Greg Kroah-Hartman published details about the fifty-eighth maintenance version of the long-term supported Linux 3.14 kernel.

According to the release announcement, Linux kernel 3.14.58 LTS is a modest release that patches a few issues with the ARM, ARM64 (AArch64) and x86 hardware architectures, updates the networking stack with various improvements for the IPv4 network protocol, as well as for things like Bluetooth, IrDA, mac80211, and Reliable Datagram Sockets (RDS), and to update some USB sound drivers.
