Linux Kernel 3.18.18 LTS Is a Huge Release with Multiple ARM Fixes, Updated Drivers

Linux on ARMSasha Levin, the maintainer of the Linux 3.18 kernel series, has recently announced the immediate availability for download of Linux kernel 3.18.18, an LTS (Long Term Support) branch that receives security patches and bug fixes for a couple of years more than regular kernel branches.

Looking at the appended shortlog, we can notice that Linux kernel 3.18.18 LTS is here to bring numerous improvements to the ARM and ARM64 (AArch64) architectures, as well as various changes to the MIPS, ARC, x86, s390, and PowerPC (PPC) architectures, improvements to the EXT4, FUSE, NFS, jbd2, and XFS file systems, and many networking and sound enhancements.
