Linux on ARMImmediately after announcing the release of Linux kernel 4.1.4 LTS and Linux kernel 3.10.85 LTS, Greg Kroah-Hartman informed us all that the forty-nine maintenance release of the long-term supported Linux 3.14 kernel is now available for download.

According to Mr. Kroah-Hartman's announcement, Linux kernel 3.14.49 LTS is a fairly normal release that brings some improvements to ARM64, ARC, and MIPS hardware architectures, as well as to the EXT4, Btrfs, FUSE, XFS, NFS, HPFS, and jbd2 file systems. However, it also includes some networking fixes, especially for mac80211, Ceph, and SunRPC, various security enhancements, as well as multiple sound improvements.
