Linux on ARMAfter announcing the release of the Linux kernel 4.1.6 LTS, renowned developer Greg Kroah-Hartman published details about the eighty-seven maintenance release of the Linux 3.10 kernel series, urging all users to update as soon as possible.

According to the appended shortlog, Linux kernel 3.10.87 LTS (Long-Term Support) is quite a small release that brings with it various improvements to the ARM, ARM64, SPARC, x86, and PowerPC (PPC) architectures, as well as to the OCFS2 file system, but also several updated drivers, especially for things like USB, Xen, iSCSI, SCSI, GPU, MFD, MD, Crypto, and Block.
