Linux Kernel 3.14.51 LTS Arrives with More ARM, MIPS, x86, and SPARC Improvements

Linux on ARMImmediately after announcing the release of the Linux kernel 4.1.6 LTS and Linux kernel 3.10.87 LTS, Greg Kroah-Hartman published details about the fifty-one maintenance release of the Linux 3.14 LTS kernel.

According to the appended shortlog attached to Mr. Kroah-Hartman announcement, Linux kernel 3.14.51 LTS (Long-Term Support) is quite a small release that comes with various improvements to the ARM, ARM64, MIPS, SPARC, PowerPC (PPC), and x86 hardware architectures, improvements to the OCFS2 file system, as well as a couple of non-driver sound and networking fixes.
