This array of nearly 100 processor cores was even powered up by a solar panel.

However Jon Masters, principal software engineer at Red Hat and leader of Fedora's ARM effort told The INQUIRER that 64-bit ARM chips will prove to be the killer feature for ARM-based servers.

The group's work began less than three months ago, but the port is said to already be capable of booting a Linux 3.0-based virtual machine.
